Ten Monumental Carole Feuerman Sculptures Arrive on Rodeo Drive Nov. 9

The superrealist sculptor's first major outdoor public exhibition on the West Coast opens with a free unveiling at 332 N. Rodeo Drive and stays on view through 2027.

On Monday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m., American superrealist sculptor Carole A. Feuerman will unveil 10 monumental sculptures along Rodeo Drive. The City of Beverly Hills calls it her first major public outdoor exhibition on the West Coast.

The show, Carole Feuerman: Monuments of Stillness, opens on Nov. 9 and, according to the city, will remain on view during 2027. It is presented by the City of Beverly Hills and Mayor Craig Corman in partnership with Melissa Morgan Fine Art, with thanks to the Rodeo Drive Committee. The city says bringing art pop-ups to public spaces is one of the mayor’s priorities for his term.

What you’ll see

The city describes the works as Feuerman’s swimmers and contemplative figures. The figures typically have closed eyes, poised gestures and a sense of repose, which the city says is meant to contrast with the energy of the street around them. Before Beverly Hills, Feuerman showed large public works on New York’s Park Avenue and at the Seaport, and in 2026 along Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.

The unveiling

  • When: Monday, Nov. 9, 11 a.m.
  • Where: 332 N. Rodeo Drive
  • Cost: Free and open to the public
  • Program: remarks by Mayor Corman, the artist and Melissa Morgan Fine Art. The artist’s studio says a photo opportunity and an artist-led walk through the installation will follow.
  • Parking: the city points visitors to the public structure at 9510 Brighton Way, where the first two hours are free.

The artist’s studio says an invitation-only preview screening of Chasing Jupiter, a documentary about Feuerman’s life and career, will take place the same day at the Fine Arts Theatre on Wilshire Boulevard. It is not open to the public.
